"What I mean is that for you to climb that position, you must be groomed for that, you can't just go there as you are like this" Dr. Ucheani continued.

However, for Samuel, he is just becoming more confused. He wondered what else one would need to become a president if not capabilities. He was becoming very curious too, he asked more questions.

Presently

"Andy guess what, i will be vying for a position in our department. I think i need to start preparing myself for the task ahead as it concerns school politics," Dan confided in his friend, Andy. Well, since Dan joined Samuel's campaign team, he has been having this interest in politics which had not been there before. 

And, a lot were changing too. He now Loves to be identified with everything Samuel. He goes to parties, so long as Samuel would come. He goes to events, games and the rest just to See Samuel. Samuel too had noticed how obsessed he was with him and had brought him closer like a brother.

Some days ago, Samuel was accused of rape. Well, many said it was a propaganda while others insisted he actually did it. Although many have their opinions for themselves, the truth still remained a speculation.

Samuel usually organized tutorial for first years student. Even Dan had been attending that too. But, that particular day, as the story was told, the young girl had stayed behind and even followed him to his lodge, no one knows why. And, from one thing that led to another, Samuel forced himself on her. Another source said the girl was his girlfriend and that even though they had sex, he never forced it on her. The last spread that the girl was planted by his opponent to seduce him and when it could not work, she now alerted that she had been raped.

All these trended about him throughout the previous week and many had started losing interest on his abilities to lead. However, it's still confusing to someone like Dan how his tainted clothe was washed and every of the accusations, flushed out. Curiosity gave more way too. Dan wanted to know more.

It was the election day and everyone was running helter skelter to make sure his candidate won. But, it amazed all how Samuel was just quiet, sitting with friends and celebrating instead. 

At his opponent's major force, fight had occurred. Even the people that fought up till now still don't know what led to the fight. However, many people could not vote there as they had to run and leave the environment for safety. Samuel won. 

"Boss, abeg i been wanting to ask you a question cos i dey confused so", Dan had told him few days after the election. "Wetin be that? Boss, i have been wondering how you were able to defeat and clear all the propagandas labeled against you during this election. More especially, the case of rape. What really happened?" Dan had landed. Samuel was just smiling, maybe mischievously. He was looking up to the sky, tapping his pen on the table. Dan was however trying to get hold of his eyes but Samuel never gave him the room for that. "My dear, it's a long story and you really need to be groomed if you wish to know how it happened."

"Groomed? How?" Dan asked.
